Slendro Soundscape is a virtual musical installation in which the listener’s location/movement within an artificial environment determines what they are hearing. Its acousmatic sounds are composed of various sustained sonorities that fade in and out in rhythms evocative of meditative-breathing. The pitches are all derived from a 5EDO (equal divisions of the octave) scale and the sonorities are a carefully blended mix of harmonic and inharmonic timbres.
